Salah Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the controversy from his recent interview.
The Incident
Salah was left out from a vital match after criticising the club and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has refused to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.

Jones insisted that the squad's reaction remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
He also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the situation. He feels the Salah's words were not intended to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and securing victories.”
